About the Fox & Goose

The Fox and Goose is a classic 18th century country restaurant and inn set in the idyllic village of Foxt on the edge of the Peak District.

Our conservatory style restaurant offers far reaching scenic views across the Churnet Valley. In the cosy bar the open log fire place makes it the perfect setting to enjoy fine British ales and wines.

Homemade locally sourced food is our passion. Whether you are enjoying pub classic dishes from our day time pub menu or a scrumptious meal from the evening a la carte menu our chef will delight you.

This family friendly country pub and restaurant is a real hidden gem so why not come and join us, walkers are always made welcome and dogs are allowed in the bar area.
